In the early morning hours of June 20, 2020, a night out for 29-year-old Isabel Leal in Phoenix, Arizona, ended in tragedy. Leal was at a club located at 3800 E. University Dr. with her boyfriend when a fight erupted inside the venue. The altercation spilled out into the parking lot, where the scene turned violent.
At approximately 2:54 a.m., Phoenix Police responded to a call about a shooting at the club.
Upon their arrival, they discovered Isabel Leal in the parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound. She was quickly transported to a local hospital, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries.
Investigators learned that following the fight inside the club, an unidentified man began shooting in the parking lot. It was during this chaos that Leal was struck. The male suspect managed to flee the scene in a vehicle before the police arrived and has not been publicly identified.
The sudden and violent death of Isabel Leal left her family heartbroken. She was a mother to four children, three sons and a daughter. In the wake of her death, authorities appealed to the public for any information that might lead to the apprehension of the person responsible for her murder.
