In the spring of 2014, 33-year-old Angelina Collier, a Black female residing in Phoenix, Arizona, was taking steps to reshape her life. She had recently filed for divorce from her husband, Robert Collier, and was in the process of applying to law school, all while working at a law firm and raising her three children. Friends of Angelina conveyed that she had expressed fears for her and her children's safety in the time leading up to her tragic death.
