Minh Thi Phan, a 49-year-old female, died on May 23, 2021, in Phoenix, Arizona, after being fatally shot. The incident occurred late Sunday night near 23rd and Northern avenues. The shooting was the culmination of a heated argument between Phan and her boyfriend, William Wickware.
According to court documents, the verbal altercation between Phan and Wickware escalated dramatically, leading to the violent encounter. Wickware is reported to have pointed a weapon at Phan and fired twice.
When authorities arrived at the residence, they discovered Phan on the kitchen floor, having sustained wounds to her head and arm.
Despite the efforts of the Phoenix Fire Department who were called to the scene, Minh Thi Phan was pronounced dead from her injuries.
