On August 29, 1992, at approximately 2:10 p.m., the Zubia family was discovered deceased outside their residence at 701 East Baseline Road in Phoenix, Arizona. The victims included 30-year-old Librada Zubia Hernandez, 28-year-old Eloy Zubia Sr., 19-year-old Gabriel Hernandez, 9-year-old Rocio Zubia, and 6-year-old Eloy Zubia Jr.
