In the summer of 2019, a young Hispanic man named Adrian Reyes Valdez Avila lost his life in a fatal shooting in a south Phoenix, Arizona neighborhood. On July 9, 2019, at an apartment complex near 29th Street and Roeser Road, the 24-year-old was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. At the time of his death, Adrian was a father to four children.
