On a Tuesday in Tucson, Arizona, the life of 34-year-old Alberto Silva Ledezma was tragically cut short. On November 23, 2021, the Hispanic man was visiting the residence of Kevin William Holland, also 34, in the 4600 block of East 31st Street. An argument broke out between the two men, and the confrontation soon escalated with fatal consequences.
The dispute culminated in a shooting that left Ledezma with mortal wounds. It was Holland himself who contacted 911 to report the incident.
When authorities arrived, they found Ledezma, who had been shot. Following an investigation into the altercation, Kevin William Holland was arrested in connection with the shooting.
Holland was subsequently charged with second-degree murder for his role in the death of Alberto Silva Ledezma. His bail was set at $250,000. A memorial service to honor Alberto Silva Ledezma's life was held on December 10, 2021, at East Lawn Palms Mortuary in Tucson, where friends and family gathered to remember him.
