In the winter of 2014, a Glendale, Arizona community was shaken by the violent death of one of its residents. On the afternoon of Saturday, December 20th, police responded to a call from an apartment complex in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of 55-year-old Michael Simpson, a male resident of one of the units. It was immediately apparent that he had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
