On January 24, 2020, a tragic incident occurred in Glendale, Arizona, resulting in the death of 51-year-old Jose Ayala. The incident took place in a parking lot near 59th and Glendale avenues. Jose Ayala and his 19-year-old son, Luis Ayala, were approached by Robert Mahoney, a 58-year-old man who was Jose's former business partner.
