On the evening of January 29, 2020, a trip to a car show in Glendale, Arizona, turned fatal for 31-year-old Tyler Wilson. The man was in the east parking lot of a mall complex in the area of 93rd and Glendale avenues when a dispute over a parking spot escalated into a deadly confrontation.
Wilson was a passenger in his friend's vehicle as they were attempting to back into a parking space. An impatient driver in a silver-colored Chevrolet Cruz began a verbal altercation with them.
Wilson got out of his friend's car to speak with the other driver. During this exchange, the driver of the Chevrolet Cruz shot Wilson multiple times.
The shooter fled the scene, driving southbound and was last seen heading eastbound on Camelback Road. Witnesses described the suspect as a Hispanic male, between 20 and 35 years old, with spikey brown hair. He was reportedly wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt or jacket at the time of the incident. Despite ongoing investigations by the Glendale Police Department and pleas from Wilson's family for information, the suspect remains at large, and no arrests have been made in the case. A reward has been offered for any information that leads to an arrest.
