On a clear autumn evening in Glendale, Arizona, the life of 44-year-old Michael Edward Harris was tragically cut short. On Thursday, October 19, 2023, just after 10:30 p.m., the sound of multiple gunshots pierced the night near the intersection of 59th Avenue and Thunderbird Road. When Glendale police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Harris with an apparent gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced deceased at the location.
