On January 15, 2016, Christopher John Gonzales Cummings, a 21-year-old resident of Glendale, Arizona, was fatally shot in his apartment. The incident occurred when three men, armed and intent on robbery, invaded his home. Enrique Luna and Israel Carrasco, brothers who were among the intruders, entered Cummings' bedroom while a third suspect held two adults and a baby at gunpoint in the living room.
