Mark Leroy Woodruff, a 72-year-old resident of Glendale, Arizona, was found dead in the early hours of June 24, 2014. He was discovered in the driver's seat of his vehicle, which was still running and parked in his driveway. Woodruff had suffered a gunshot wound to the head, and investigators found another gunshot had been fired through the car door, although only one 9MM shell casing was recovered near the scene.
