On a cold February day in 1979, the life of 34-year-old Pamela Edie, a female, came to a tragic and violent end inside her family's Capitol Hill home in Washington, D.C. A noted cook who hosted a food-focused program on the WAMU-FM radio station, Edie had recently relocated to the prominent neighborhood from California with her husband, an attorney, and their two young sons. The family had moved into a historic brick townhouse on E Street NE just a few months prior to the incident.
