In a tragic turn of events on the evening of April 28, 2019, Boyd Lynn, a 60-year-old man, was fatally shot in a motel room in west Phoenix. The incident unfolded around 6 p.m. near 19th Avenue and Van Buren Street, forever altering the lives of those involved.
