Nearly two years later, A Valley mother is still searching for answers after her teenage son was killed in a shooting in South Phoenix.

On Feb. 18, 2016, 17-year-old Demetric Carter and two other men were shot in a parked car near Southern and Central avenues. Carter died from his injuries.

According to police, the victims were shot by three men who were on-foot. The group of suspects left the scene after firing several shots.
