On December 18, 2023, a tragic series of events led to the death of 12-year-old Baynen Fitz in Phoenix, Arizona. The incident began when Bryan Fitz, Baynen's 53-year-old father, shot and killed his estranged wife, 49-year-old Sage Fitz, and another man, 62-year-old Carmen Buscemi, at a commercial business area near 27th Avenue and Deer Valley Road.
