On December 21, 2022, a deadly shooting occurred at a Chevron convenience store in central Phoenix, Arizona, near the intersection of 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. The incident resulted in the deaths of 30-year-old Shane Robert Knoll, an employee of the gas station, and 40-year-old Jaime Flores, the suspect.
