On June 22, 2019, deputies from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to an apartment complex on Tucson’s northwest side after reports of a shooting. The complex, located near the 7400 block of North Mona Lisa Road, became the center of a rapidly unfolding investigation when officers arrived and found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the parking lot.
