In a tragic turn of events on April 7, 2020, 18-year-old Tyler Thomas, a White male, was fatally shot in the parking lot of a shopping center at the intersection of South Houghton Road and East Rita Road in Tucson, Arizona. The incident, which unfolded around 4:38 p.m., was the result of a prearranged meeting between two groups of people who were known to each other and had an existing conflict.
