On May 21, 2014, Michael Duncklee, a 28-year-old man from Tucson, Arizona, was fatally shot by Tucson Police Department officers Robert Soeder and Alan Meyer. The incident occurred at 8:58 p.m. when officers responded to a situation involving Duncklee.
