In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Tucson, Arizona, the life of 23-year-old Christopher Luiz Nunez was tragically cut short. On March 9, 2021, Nunez and a friend, 22-year-old Bernadino Santamarina, were found inside a vehicle that had crashed into a wall in the 5500 block of South Forgeus Avenue. Both men had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and were pronounced deceased at the scene.
