In the warm evening hours of June 7, 2017, in Tucson, Arizona, a burst of violence shattered the tranquility of Mission Manor Park, leaving two men dead. One of the victims was 20-year-old Roman Nieto. He, along with 26-year-old Guillermo Ortiz-Morales, was in the western parking lot of the park when a verbal disagreement with another man escalated with deadly speed. The unidentified male produced a handgun and opened fire on Nieto and Ortiz-Morales.
