In the early hours of a Sunday morning, the life of 33-year-old Marlon Cruz Isaguirre was tragically cut short in Phoenix, Arizona. On December 8, 2019, what began as a night out ended in violence that left a community searching for answers and two suspects on the run. The Hispanic male's death stemmed from an altercation that unfolded at the Nugget Bar located at 4130 N. 83rd Avenue.

Two male suspects departed in separate vehicles, a white sedan and a white GMC Yukon or Chevy Tahoe with chrome rims, and proceeded to drive south through the parking lot of a gas station at 8316 W. Indian School Road. It was there, at approximately 2:21 a.m., that the events turned fatal. Isaguirre, who had followed the vehicles on foot, was shot by gunfire that erupted from the white sedan.
The Phoenix Police Department and Silent Witness launched an investigation, seeking the public's help in identifying the individuals responsible for the homicide. Detailed descriptions of the suspects were released. The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male, standing 5'8' and weighing 180 pounds, with a possible tattoo of the state of California on his jawline and wearing a red shirt. The second suspect is also a Hispanic male, taller at 6'2' and weighing 180 pounds, and was also seen in a red shirt. He was the driver of the sedan from which the fatal shots were fired.
A person of interest, a Hispanic female with long dark hair who was wearing dark clothing, was also noted as being an occupant of the sedan along with the second suspect. Despite the passage of time and the available descriptions of the suspects and their vehicles, the case remains unresolved. Authorities have continued to appeal to the public for any information that could lead to the arrest and indictment of those involved in the death of Marlon Cruz Isaguirre.
