His family later shared that Bryce had contended with depression since he was in middle school.
While they had observed some signs of his struggle, they were not fully aware of the depths of his condition. In the wake of his passing, his parents have spoken out, emphasizing the critical importance of maintaining open and honest communication with children of all ages to better identify and address mental health issues.
No arrests were made as there were no suspects in his death. Bryce's family described him as a person who was cared for by many and wished for him to be remembered in that light. To honor his memory, a celebration of life was held at the family's home, which also served to raise awareness about the importance of mental health support.
