In the summer of 1995, a tragedy unfolded within the ranks of Yuma, Arizona's law enforcement community, culminating in the death of 41-year-old Sergeant Michael Lynn Crowe. A United States Marine Corps veteran, Crowe had dedicated 15 years of service to the Arizona Department of Public Safety and had also previously served with the Mesa Police Department.
