In the late evening hours of April 21, 2020, in Yuma, Arizona, the life of Emuel Flores, a 25-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short. The incident unfolded at the Rio Santa Fe Apartments, where residents reported hearing arguments followed by the sound of multiple gunshots. When officers from the Yuma Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered two men with gunshot wounds.
