In the early evening of a Sunday in Yuma, Arizona, a sequence of events unfolded that tragically ended the life of 40-year-old Luis Daniel Castro. On October 16, 2022, at approximately 6:31 PM, the Yuma County Sheriff's Office received a distressing call about a gunshot victim in the 3300 block of W. 5th Street. Upon their arrival at the scene, deputies discovered a male, later identified as Castro, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound and unresponsive.
