On January 27, 2017, 28-year-old Fernando Valenzuela was fatally shot in Yuma, Arizona. At approximately 8:40 p.m., police responded to reports of gunfire on West 3rd Street and discovered Valenzuela suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
