Daniel Herrera Jr., a 31-year-old resident of San Luis, Arizona, lost his life to gun violence on September 22, 2022, in Yuma, Arizona. He was found dead along with a 28-year-old woman, Kristin Carrillo, near County 13th Street and Avenue F in the Yuma/Somerton area. The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) responded to a call about two unresponsive individuals and discovered that both had been shot. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
