In the light of a Yuma, Arizona day, a violent home invasion tragically cut short the life of 60-year-old Robert Anthony Perez Sr. on July 7, 2021. The Hispanic man was fatally shot outside a residence near 15th Place and 44th Avenue in what authorities have described as a brazen daytime attack. His family and community were left in shock and mourning, remembering a man who they said was living a clean and sober life and striving to do the right thing.
