In the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 25, 2022, the quiet of a Yuma, Arizona neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. At approximately 7:43 AM, the Yuma County Sheriff's Office received a report of a shooting in the 5600 block of E. County 5 ½ Street. When deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered a male victim who was unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound.
