On a Tuesday evening in Phoenix, Arizona, the life of 61-year-old David Mendoza, a Hispanic male, was tragically cut short. On March 24, 2020, police responded to reports of gunfire in the vicinity of the 4200 block of 5th Street, near Broadway Road. Arriving at the scene around 9 p.m., officers discovered Mendoza lying in the street, having sustained a gunshot wound.
