Jaden, a Black male born on November 18, 2003, was remembered for his love of family and his charismatic personality. His family described him as a sweet kid who enjoyed family game nights and had a knack for persuasion.
He was a beloved son, brother, and grandson who had a passion for travel from a young age and was known for his dedication to his 'waves' hairstyle.
The investigation into Jaden's death is ongoing, and authorities have been seeking information from the public to help solve the case. Information suggests the shooting may have taken place at a party near Interstate 10 and Valencia Road. Witnesses reported an argument at a house party on Tucson's southeast side involving the occupants of an older SUV. As of April 2024, the homicide remains unsolved, with no arrests made and no suspects publicly identified. Law enforcement has urged anyone with information to contact 88-CRIME, where they can remain anonymous.
