On August 18, 2016, a double shooting occurred in the westside area of Tucson, Arizona, resulting in the death of 30-year-old Uriel Galvez-Galvez. Galvez-Galvez was pronounced dead at the scene due to gunshot injuries.

The incident involved another individual who was also shot but survived the attack. The police were called to the scene to investigate the shootings, and the death of Galvez-Galvez was subsequently classified as a homicide.
