On Christmas morning in 2020, 18-year-old Tyler Cardiel was tragically shot and killed in Phoenix, Arizona, while walking home from his overnight shift at a Circle K. The young man, who had just recently graduated high school, was looking forward to celebrating the holiday with his mother and younger 11-year-old brother.
