In the late hours of a Thursday night in Phoenix, Arizona, a violent altercation at a fast-food restaurant tragically cut short the life of Jorge Valenzuela Ramirez. The 19-year-old male was working at the Jack in the Box located near 18th Avenue and Bell Road on December 8, 2022, when a dispute erupted at the drive-thru window. The conflict involved Ramirez and a 22-year-old female co-worker on one side, and another man on the other.
The argument escalated with shocking suddenness when
the man fired multiple gunshots into the restaurant. Both Ramirez and his female colleague were struck by the gunfire. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene just before 10:30 p.m., finding both victims with serious injuries. They were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Jorge Valenzuela Ramirez succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
