On December 8, 2022, a fatal shooting occurred at a Jack in the Box restaurant located near 19th Avenue and Bell Road in north Phoenix, Arizona. The incident resulted in the death of 19-year-old Jorge Valenzuela Ramirez and left a 22-year-old female employee with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
