On December 30, 2020, Justin Gervon Chavis, a 32-year-old man from Tucson, Arizona, was fatally shot at a laundromat located in the 7400 block of E. 22nd St. on the east side of Tucson. The incident occurred around 3:00 p.m. when officers responded to a report of a shooting at the shopping center where the laundromat was situated.
