Elijah Miranda, a 25-year-old member of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe, was tragically killed in a shooting incident on August 25, 2022, at the Lind Commons Apartments in Tucson, Arizona. Miranda was sleeping on his friends’ couch at the apartment complex after finishing his late-night shift at McDonald's, where he had recently been promoted to manager.
