In the city of Tucson, Arizona, a routine evening at a 7-Eleven took a tragic turn on January 22, 2026, resulting in the death of 55-year-old Scott Dwayne Kennedy. Mr. Kennedy, a male employee of the convenience store, was fatally shot while attempting to prevent a shoplifting incident involving liquor.
