In the early hours of New Year's Day in Tucson, Arizona, a young man's life was cut tragically short. Ariel Aurelio Guarista, a 23-year-old male, was found in the roadway in the 2600 block of North First Avenue with gunshot trauma. The Tucson Police Department received a 9-1-1 call reporting the shooting just before 2:30 a.m. on January 1, 2025.
