In the winter of 2024, the life of 16-year-old Nyzaiah Gabriel Martinez was tragically cut short on the east side of Tucson, Arizona. A student at Cholla High School, the young Hispanic male became the victim of a fatal shooting on December 2nd. The incident prompted an immediate investigation by the Tucson Police Department as they began to piece together the events that led to the teenager's untimely death. Found with gunshot wounds, Martinez was beyond saving despite efforts to save him.
