On a November day in Tucson, Arizona, a visit between two men would end in a fatal encounter. Thirty-four-year-old Alberto Silva Ledezma was at the residence of Kevin William Holland, also 34, in the 4600 block of East 31st Street on November 23, 2021. An altercation broke out between the two men, which tragically escalated to the point of gunfire.
Ledezma was shot and fatally wounded during the dispute.
Following the shooting, it was Holland himself who contacted 911 to report the incident. When authorities arrived, they found Ledezma with mortal injuries. Holland was subsequently arrested at the scene.
Kevin William Holland was charged with second-degree murder in the death of Alberto Ledezma. His bail was set at $250,000. The incident cut short the life of a man remembered fondly by friends, leaving a void in the community and underscoring the devastating impact of violence.
