In the late hours of a Tuesday evening in Tucson, Arizona, the life of 22-year-old Bernadino Santamarina, a Hispanic male, was tragically cut short. On March 9, 2021, Santamarina and his companion, 23-year-old Christopher Luiz Nunez, were seated in a Honda Civic near the intersection of Tucson Boulevard and Forgeus Avenue. An argument with another group of individuals in a nearby parking lot escalated to a fatal confrontation.
