In the early afternoon of June 1, 2025, a fatal encounter unfolded in the parking lot of a Tucson, Arizona apartment complex at 201 West Blacklidge Drive. The incident resulted in the death of 18-year-old Braden Johnson Begay. When law enforcement and personnel from the Tucson Fire Department arrived at the scene following reports of a shooting, they discovered the unresponsive male suffering from gunshot trauma.
