On January 14, 2021, John Galindo, a 28-year-old resident of Phoenix, Arizona, lost his life due to gun violence. The incident occurred in the area of 28th Street and Van Buren Street.

Phoenix police officers responded to a call regarding a shooting at approximately 8:22 PM. Upon arrival, they found Galindo suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention, the Phoenix Fire Department pronounced Galindo deceased at the scene.
