In the summer of 2017, a discovery was made inside a Phoenix, Arizona, residence that left a community searching for answers. Eugene Strong, a 54-year-old man, was found deceased in his home near 1900 W. Berridge Lane on the morning of Thursday, August 10, 2017. Authorities determined that he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The investigation into his death revealed that he had last been seen alive the previous day, Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at approximately 10:00 a.m.
