On February 18, 2021, a homicide investigation was initiated in Phoenix, Arizona, following the death of 32-year-old Christopher Beasley. Beasley was found sitting in a stolen vehicle with a gunshot wound near the intersection of 32nd Street and McDowell Road.

Police officers responded to the area early in the morning and located Beasley, who was then transported to the hospital. Despite medical efforts, Beasley was pronounced dead at the hospital.
