In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Phoenix, Arizona, the life of 16-year-old Steven Baptisto-Mahle, a male, was tragically cut short. On January 17, 2021, just before midnight, Phoenix police officers were dispatched to the area of 31st Avenue and Rose Lane after receiving a call about a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered the young man on the ground in the roadway, suffering from a gunshot wound.
