On October 18, 2021, at approximately 3:15 a.m., Tucson police officers responded to reports of a shooting at Mission Manor Park, located at 6100 S. 12th Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 21-year-old Ocean Frederick Washington suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite prompt medical attention from Tucson Fire medics, Washington was pronounced dead at the scene.
