Maria Miranda, a 50-year-old woman, lost her life to gun violence on December 15, 2021, in Tucson, Arizona. The incident occurred in the house she shared with her partner, Miguel Arvizu, 53, in the 3700 block of East 32nd Street.

According to the police, the deaths were the result of a murder-suicide. Miguel Arvizu, who was the sole owner of the gun, shot Maria Miranda before turning the gun on himself. Police responded to the scene at 11:41 p.m. and found both individuals deceased. ...Read More
